8:15 – 9 a.m.:  Keynote  - The Evolving Global Regulatory Landscape for ESG  - presented by Paula Ivey, Founder of The CSR Group LLC and Teal Corporation, Principal at Ramboll
This session will cover updates and trends in corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), including the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, reporting frameworks, and best practices for compliance. Learn about the new tools and technologies to support reporting compliance and which ESG issues are most important in the coming year. This session will help you and your teams stay ahead of the curve with the knowledge to navigate the complexities of ESG and the trends driving sustainable business practices in 2025.

9:15 – 10 a.m.: Scope 3 Strategies – hosted by Manufacturers Alliance

McKinsey & Company estimates that Scope 3 emissions typically represent around 90 percent of a company’s total emissions, though the figure can vary by industry and company. In manufacturing, Scope 3 emissions can result from a wide variety of activities, making it hard to know where companies should focus for maximum impact. This session will explore the various strategies forward-thinking manufacturers are employing to make meaningful progress towards their Scope 3 emissions reduction targets.

How can companies balance investment in sustainability with the need to remain competitive in challenging economic conditions? This presentation will look at the current status of sustainability efforts within industry, and how manufacturing companies can balance the cost of doing business with the impact on the environment, both in the short and longer term.

This interactive panel brings together insights from the day’s sessions to explore how companies can integrate sustainability efforts into their strategic roadmap effectively. Panelists will share actionable takeaways from their areas of expertise while discussing how they interconnect to form a cohesive approach to sustainable manufacturing and corporate responsibility.
